KOTA KINABALU: KKIP Group continues to strengthen its position as one of Sabah’s leading property developers with the launch of the V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 2 project at the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), featuring fully-furnished homes equipped with modern amenities and smart technology.

KKIP Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Lawrence G. Kimkuan, said the launch of V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 2 marks another significant milestone in the company’s vision to develop an integrated smart city within Sabah’s largest industrial area.

“The V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 1 project was fully completed with 1,221 residential units, all of which have been handed over to the buyers. Phase 1 Stage 2 comprises another 960 new units that are now open for sale.

“Prices for V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 2 start from RM168,000 for one-bedroom units, RM213,000 for two-bedroom units, and RM345,000 for three-bedroom units. Each unit comes fully furnished, including furniture, kitchen appliances, air-conditioning, high-speed internet, and electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities,” he told Sabah Media after the V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 2 Sales and Purchase Agreement Signing Ceremony at the KKIP Sales Gallery here today.

V21 Residence Phase 1 Stage 2 housing units at KKIP are now open for sale.

According to Lawrence, buyers will not need to make any additional purchases as all units are move-in ready, complete with integrated water, electricity, and EV charging management systems accessible via a dedicated mobile application.

He explained that KKIP’s 1,000 acres development land makes it one of the largest urban land banks in Sabah. The company plans to build at least 20,000 housing units over the next 10 years.

“For the V21 Residence project alone, the long-term masterplan involves six stages comprising a total of 6,500 units. So far, response to Phase 1 Stage 2 has been very encouraging, with all 285 units in Block 3 sold out and Block 5 recording approximately 70 per cent sales.

“The new units under Phase 1 Stage 2 are also designed with larger built-up areas  between 100 and 150 square feet bigger than those in Stage 1  while maintaining competitive prices across all categories,” he said.

Lawrence added that KKIP’s focus extends beyond housing development, as the group aims to build thriving communities supported by high-quality facilities and affordable living standards.

“Through the development of sustainable communities supported by modern facilities and green technology, KKIP strives to create a vibrant economic environment that contributes to the growth of Sabah’s property and industrial sectors,” he added.
